Hello! This is Claire from Taiwan. I hope you’re enjoying your stay so far here, or that you’re excited about what you’re going to experience.

As a traveller myself, I never liked to just shop or only relying on socials for what to do in a city. Instead, I always hope to find local markets or events to go to. Taiwan has a lot of those in different cities, but a lot of them are only in Mandarin Chinese. In addition to event information, survival skills like renting a ubike or what is written on the signs and menus are also a big challenge for people who don’t know the language. That’s why I thought to start this blog.

I’ve benefitted from others when I was new to London and Tokyo when I lived there, and in so many more places just because people are passionate in sharing. Now it’s my turn to share with you.
